Thanks to siriel for the sobering heads-up:

The Butterfly Place in Westford has been closed indefinitely, because a 3,100-square-foot section of their glass-and-steel roof collapsed on July 29th - luckily, no one was hurt, and most of the animals/insects were captured and rehomed. They think it will cost "between $200,000 and $250,000" to rebuild; ( Read more... )

Yah, heard about that one in the Sun.

I've been waiting, hoping to see them open up for donations. It was one of the first places we took Boo as a baby, and I'd love to help get them reopened.
