Yeah I love that passage as well.

My favourite passage was from the chapter when the old woman was talking about how she used to be young and beautiful and then so many tragedies happened, and when she floated out to the beach she looked up to see a very handsome man who happened to be a castrato and he said, "Oh, was a misfortune to be without balls!"
