I thought that one of the perks of having an office with a door means you can cry in private. Not so.

Also, when you barge into someone's office and they politely waive you off because they are on the phone, this does not mean they want you to back out, close the door, then bust in five minutes later. "I'll come see you," means just that.

A new wrinkle: He emails me..um, I mean, you... through the OkCupid system. (Again sounding very reasonable and normal and not crazy-divorce-guy-y.)
