what we wore today: ms bishop courts prep
16 August 2008- "In age well-balanced, in personal appearance fairly matched, and in domestic requirements conformable, in temper this couple differed, though even here they did not often clash, he being the more generous of the two, if not compromising, and she decidedly stubborn and capricious like the wind."

- adapted from An Imaginative Woman, Thomas Hardy

SHE wears dark grey bishop robes which she would have you believe were nicked from a church, but don't take to her lies; she bought the 'religious' looking dress in a Hong Kong fashion store. On her feet are black pointy kitten heels from Trendyzone, not wholly attire-inappropriate but a little sexy for one who claims she is a runaway bishop (where's the cross on her neck, pray?). The only jewelery she wears is a huge stone, blood red, on her finger, a plastic ring from fayfey. As though giving herself up to worldly desires she carries a bbag, inspired but in a gorgeous crimson red nonetheless.

HE wears a made-to-measure shirt under a plaid vest from Hema, Netherlands, straight cut jeans from Buffalo by David Bitton, a Seiko Premier Kinetic Perpetual watch, and Zara loafers. Breaking out against the largely greyish blue of all these is his choice of a dark purple tie with black stripes, hailing from Lloyd Attree & Smith. With a thoughtful sensibility, he has matched his tie with his Samsung handphone, of which dark red is its main colour.

Never one for downright, in-your-face matchy matchy couple outfits, SHE prefers subtle coordination, like how his purplish maroon tie matches her dark red bag here. This coincidence in dressing was not planned, a testament to their evident chemistry, perhaps.
