under the greenwood tree
14 August 2008- today, today, i am a Dryad in disguise. with flowers crowning a head of willowy hair, and an autumn leaf on my bosom, i clothe myself in the stolen wing armours of click beetles, and embrace the bewitching colours of a purplish red sunset ( Read more... )

Hello, sleeves! Love the top color and the mix of colors, and the shoes.

I love the leaf brooch! did you buy it? it looks really precious, like a heirloom.

the family thrift store at upper serangoon, very stuffy and hot place, not like the fully air conditioned bukit timah branch.

This is so lovely, it looks like a simple classy outfit on first glance but there are so many little quirks about it. T-bar sandals aren't usually my thing, but the colour of those are amazing.

thank you :) sandals in general aren't my thing either, but i decided i needed to expand my variety of shoes so i can experiment with more looks.

GAH! i'm being pressured by my friends to start thinking of a prom dress before the whirlwind of As preparation takes over but i have no idea what to get.

i'm thinking of tailoring BUT IF ONLY i had your figure ))): out of plain curiosity, what did you wear to prom?

haha! don't let it get to you :) i only started looking for a dress after the exams ;) in fact, i didn't really look at all, i went to my good friend's house and borrowed one of her cocktail dresses. i don't like to buy something under pressure, just for the sake of an event. i rather buy something i really like and want, and that will take time, and of course chance. personally i wouldn't spend so much money on prom. it's not my wedding, and i most likely won't wear prom dresses again. i didn't even do any makeup or my hair.

this was the dress:

thanks janet! i'm getting fed up with livejournal ads and am thinking of moving back to blogspot with all my entries :# blah! what do you think?

change to basic account (instead of advanced account) if you dont want the ads? ohhh i was wondering why you lock your entries. if you wish to keep your entries private, then why blogspot! haha it's up to you! i love both for their different unique points.

i'm using basic! i'm neurotic over ads on MY JOURNAL. urgh!
i don't have the intention to keep my entries private, haha :) people like my boyfriend don't have lj accounts, can't read.
i noticed blogspot can also hide part of the journal entry using a link. so fun. and best of all, no ads. not so restrictive over the designing too. more space to design.
