The wall in my bedroom that borders the parking lot continues to be the thinnest wall of all time. This morning I could hear a leaf skittering across the parking lot. Well, my staying up all night in an effort to fix my sleep schedule experiment was a failure.  I went to sleep at a fairly reasonable time (read: I passed out at about 9pm), but I just ended up waking up in the middle of the night, being tired still but not being able to fall asleep again for several hours, and sleeping too late again.  Grr.  Will ( Read more... )

Got my car back a couple of hours ago.  My wallet is now approximately $600 lighter.  So, in the last month, just to get it inspected, I've spent over a thousand dollars.  That did get me new brakes (front and rear), an oil change, new wipers, plus some stuff done to pass emissions, but jesus. So, after finding out this afternoon that I will probably end up spending another five to six hundred dollars (that is, on top of the $400 I already spent) to get my car serviced to pass inspection, I'm not exactly in the mood to do day two of the movie meme right now.
