I don't know why I'm still awake, and I definitely need to get off the internet right now because Gabe Saporta is making me so angry that I just want to scream. For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure Gabe's family was illegal until the '86 amnesty. So he's not going to be super rational about it. Not that rational expression of a coherent opinion has ever been Gabe's strong suit.

That makes a lot of sense actually. And after thinking about it for a bit, my major issue was that since he has actual strong opinions about it, he should have maybe blogged so he could expand on that, since most of his fans clearly didn't read the article, and haven't learned anything in their classes about the history yet, so were spouting off agreements that were completely factually wrong or irrelevant. And then he chose to make a ridiculous response to the only person questioning him, instead of taking it seriously, even though it means a lot to him.

But it's Gabe, so what did I expect, lol.

He wouldn't be Gabe if he didn't get drunk and write poorly thought out manifestos on Twitter. He doesn't care what you think! But he will still get super defensive if you question him! Because he is Gabe Saporta and logic does not apply to him!
