Well, kids, it's looking as if Amazon was innocent after all (I am presently reserving judgement in any direction until their searches are fixed and those e-mails are explained). In other news, you bore me, American fiscal conservatives. Then again I admit bias here, suffering knee-jerk reaction on a scale from "bored" to "boggled" to "disdainful" to anyone who thinks they shouldn't have to pay taxes.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of fiscal conservatives: we don't think we shouldn't pay taxes. It's that we think that government has a clear constitutionally-defined role, that doesn't involve the government controlling everything and providing everything for everyone. We're sick of our money being misused and mismanaged, and we're going to speak up about it, rather than just take it.

definitely Amazon has issues--by removing "adult" content they took out LGBT books, rape survivor stories, but left soft-core porn untouched. apparently was another "glitch"
