I picked up a handful of horse chestnuts a few days ago. I always do that at the start of Fall, because they are A Sign of good things coming. When I was little it was something everybody did. Jen is graduating the 21rst and won't be able to go.

As I can't drive at all and you can't drive 40 hours non-stop, I was thinking the bus. If we leave at 7pm on Thursday, we'll get in LA at 12:20pm Saturday and leave Sunday 3:05pm and get back Monday 10:25pm. But it's $376. I'm not sure if I have that kind of money. Do you? Or have you found any other drivers?

I assume that price is per, as that's about what Greyhound gave me, before the ISIC discount. The horrifying thing is that Travelcuts gave me a lower quote on *plane* tickets.

*sigh* Lemme think... o.O

Hoookay... I checked Amtrak/VIArail, and with an ISIC discount round-trip Vancouver-Seattle-Los Angeles for two is $306. I dunno...?
