It had been a wonderful evening. One filled with laughter and cocktails and Rachel had looked dramatically good there in Finn's arms, and Blaine had had one too many drinks. Leaning against Kurt, he had grinned and toasted the happy couple, and Kurt had smiled softly. Holding on to each other, they had left the wedding party to drive home. The sky was covered in stars. Bright and glimmering and as Blaine snuggled up on the passenger seat, Kurt drove off in silence. Blaine tugged his shoes off, putting his bare feet up on the dashboard, leaning back against his seat. His chocolate brown eyes scanned the sky as he rolled the window down, a sudden frown building on his face. Kurt glanced at his boyfriend, suddenly blown away by his stunning features. The stars reflected in his deep dark eyes, his hair slicked back and to the side, his mouth open as if frozen mid-word. The cold autumn night chased the alcohol away, and Blaine licked his lips. "Is that a shooting star," he said almost in a whisper, "Or a satellite?" Kurt glanced to the sky to try and find Blaine's running light, but quickly turned his gaze back towards the road. "Do they collide?" Blaine asked, and Kurt turned to look at Blaine again. His dark eyes were serious and his gaze was still fixed on the night sky, and Kurt smiled. Reaching out to take Blaine's hand, Kurt said, "If it is a shooting star, make a wish." And a moment passed when Blaine turned to look at Kurt, eyes so deep and dark and filled with emotions. And he leaned closer, resting his head against Kurt's shoulder. "It's a satellite," he then said, his eyes closed and his eyelashes long, "I already have everything I can ever need." For all time, for all time.
