Yes well, after seeing Nat Nats Starsigns about Virgo's being colour co-ordinating freaks I have to admitt that I might be a touch guilty there.

Right down to my colour Co-ordinated pets actually.
Dixie is tan and white......DeeDee is black..................And Cookie Monster is Black/tan/white

Your animals are beautiful. I've always wanted to keep a horse, as have my kids, but could never make the commitment. I know they take time and lots of work to keep.
Do you ride? I used to when I was younger but haven't in awhile.

Oh,I wouldn't worry about the need to coordinate colors and such, sounds good to me! LOL!

Yes, horses are a huge commitment.

They require far more attention then a dog, and cost a lot more to.

I am breaking him in at the moment, I sat on him for the first time the other day and he didn't even think about bucking, just put his head down and ate.
I have had horses all my life. love them to death.

yes, you have to have their trust, otherwise they will never do the scary things you ask them to.

They are simular to dogs in that regard, they have to see you as the herd leader that won't do anything to put them in harms way. Then they will do anything you ask without fear.
It is awesome to develope that bond.
