We didn't actually go see Wonder Woman last Sunday when we had the babysitter. Sounds like a reasonable plan. Being out of communication during the first time with a babysitter would make anyone nervous. Hopefully you can catch the movie another time.

Glad both you and she had a nice afternoon! It is really good for you to know that she can be OK on her own.

Interesting about the fireworks... MA is a "no fireworks" state, so the concept of home fireworks is completely alien to me. Also means that H has seen very few so far b/c the public shows are so far after his bedtime. Looking forward to when he's older and we can take him to see them.

I do get a little nostalgic for the Boston fireworks, but more in a "remember how much I enjoyed them" way than a "wish I were there" way. The towns here all do local displays too, but we haven't gone to any (Etrace isn't into the crowds). I am sure H will dig them when he's old enough to stay up late!
