OK people. Take a deep breath.

Before we all panic, the latest rumor is LJ development is moving to Russian, not stopping completely. I'm sure they'll make an announcement soon.

Yes. The post was in response to friends panicking and not knowing how to back up their LJs. I wanted to get that info up fast.

And then talk about not panicking. I've edited and added that part now. And quoted you. :-)

If you use a Mac, the scripts above are all I've seen. I thought you could just type "back up my lj" somewhere or mime this into the webcam and it would magically happen... *ducks*

LOL

The client XJournal lets you download, but saves things in an annoying way that really only lets you read through the program itself. Better than nothing I suppose.
