Heh, okay. Well, the theory states that Lupin and James used a switching spell to switch bodies right before James died, and that Lupin is really James in Lupin's body...and this would explain how Lupin is so wistful when speaking of Lily, and how he is the only one (in the books, anyway) who doesn't really comment about how much Harry is like his father.

I personally believe this is highly possible.

Ah. yes, i've heard this theory too, but not from any books. Actually i'm not sure where.

but i would be wonderfully delighted if this was the case.

I think i also heard a rumour that rupin has a twin brother somewhere... who's going to pop out of the woodwork.
