Today was very hard.  Rachel left today for England, where she will spend the next year studying.

The last month has been amazing.  We have grown very close, learned a lot from each other and above all we feel so lucky to have met.

A few people have asked for photos, so just to prove that she is real....

Actually Island Bay, that day you could clearly see the South Island.

Thanks for the photos. It is always good to put a face to a name. Long distance contact is not easy but friendship can continue to flourish and sometimes the discussions that you have in writing can be deeper and more thoughtful than those that you have in person. I am very happy that you have had a wonderful month together.
