Thank you.

I did post it on fanfiction.net that's where I have done most of my reading over the years. (yeah I said years. I am usually a total lurker) Just until recently I have never wanted to write but that episode got to me. I wandered how I would react in Bobby's place to yet another near death experience; Especially after having that conversation about Dean and Sam with Samuel Campbell.

I appreciate the advice on how to smooth out my writing. You picked up on the section that gnawed at me and now I have a way to edit that for a smoother read. I wrote it in that way because thoughts don't follow a linear process (my tend to stumble around a bit), but showing the reader it is a internal thought was a challenge for me. :) I am seriously thinking about taking a writing course as I have found I do enjoy the process of getting story ideas out of my head.

Thanks again.

I really like this story, it's just there's this one itsy bitsy detail that gives me a bit of a problem.

There's no way that Bobby could legally leave any of his possessions to Dean and Sam under their real names, because they're legally dead.

Both Winchesters supposedly died in Monument Colorado, it's what got the cops of their backs.

Now admittedly, you could assume that the angels cleaned both their records, it would explain why the cops have been letting them go since s4, but still...

I thought about the presumed dead/alias thing. I wanted to believe (since the show has not confirmed one way or the other) that their records have been taken care off with heavenly intervention (namely Castiel). But even if that is not the case, the lawyer has their true contact information and the boys are friendly with local law enforcement after the rising of the witnesses event. Additionally, writing it from Bobby's pov...he might not have given his actions this much thought. Honestly, I think for once he was thinking more with his heart than his head. A gut shot reaction to Campbell's disinterest in the boy's lives combined with losing Rufus.

Thank you for the critique. I love reviews they make me happy!
