I'd listen to the dream. I can't think of an example off the top of my head. But, recently I had to talk to a teacher about why she is Muslim and it was basically because of a dream.

I had a dream once that I took seriously. I had been asking God for one for a few days--I had been reading a book (fictional but religous) and the character had a dream or asked for one, I can't remember. Anyway, I wanted one; I longed for answers I wasn't getting anywhere else. I ended up getting one one day when I feel asleep in an independant study class. But it wasn't about something that would happen to me so much, not like this dream girl of yours. It was a sense of peace that was illustrated in my dream--a short story depicting God taking care of me. It is one of the few dreams I will NEVER forget.

dreams are an example of what you're thinking about and sometimes what you want to happen. you kinda make your dreams when you're sleeping. see, this is what i get for owning a dream dictionary X_x;;...
