I observed with much delight the posts imlac shared about Christians taking an active role in protecting the environment and helping those in need. What we see in those articles are examples of how the Gospel directly translates into domestic and foreign policy, and how Christians ought to respond to the pressing call to participate in politics. Reminds me of the work of Mathew Scully, who wrote a book called "Dominion," which argued that conservative christian principles compelled people to respect animal rights.

Oh? Sounds interesting. I don't think animals have rights. But we should respect animals. That's also a Biblical principle. :)
