Hehe, I can't trust my comp. I trust Firefox, but I know any day my stupid comp could need a reboot and everything would be lost. ;_; That's why I use http://www.blinklist.com. No that's not an ad. ^^; You could try http://del.icio.us/ as an alternative. Anyway it's awesome that you got them back! One time I thought I'd lost ALL my mp3s but it turned out that Windows had put the folder under "hidden" mode. Silly Windows.
