This is just fascinating, and (my memories of the details of the battles in LotR are hazy but) it seems to me you've picked a perfect detail to tie the two worlds together. The idea of the Roknari with a new and formidable ally is a dismaying one.

And it's fun to watch the characters being curious about each other! I like it that you've made each of them interesting to the other, rather than it all being one-sided (I hadn't stopped to think that gods really should be just as intriguing as elves, lol).

I had a LOT of fun writing this! Though I must confess I only had a vague memory of the black corsairs, and had to rely on the LotR Wiki for the details, hehe. If I had time, I think I could get into fleshing out this story, though you know how bad my track record with WIPs is!

Anyway, Very pleased you enjoyed! I could so easily imagine them all goggling at each other, being a little in awe. And I've always thought it interesting that there's no real deity or religion of any kind in LotR--very interesting for a mythology!

Thank you for reading and commenting. :)

This is an interesting crossover. I really like the idea of crossovers in general, and I think you're right in thinking that there's nothing preventing these two series from existing in the same universe. I like how you've presented Cazaril and Faramir here and their respect for each other. You've set the foundation for a good partnership. I would read more if you ever think of how to add to this.

As a side note, I also love the idea of Cazaril and Remus meeting, and the only way of getting them together that I ever thought of was through the Room of Requirement. Who knows the limit of that magic?

I've never really read a crossover, much less written one, but this was a lot of fun. Very pleased you think it's a plausible one! The worlds seem to me like they could very much exist within the same one (I mean, even the time periods seem to work). Maybe one of these days I'll build on the story!

Thanks for reading and commenting. It's lovely to know you like the way I fitted together these characters.

You know I'm going to say my favourite part is Betriz and Éowyn gossiping about horses, don't you? ;) Also, how you've tied it in at the end with a sympathetic manly moment about keeping up with the women. LOL.

It wouldn't even have occurred to me to combine these two worlds, but you've done it so well it seems both obvious and fascinating - and because there is a logical reason for the worlds and characters to meet. The inadvertent one-upmanship with the army of the dead and a death demon was a classic exchange, and I wonder how long it will be before the ladies notice the similar brow furrowing in their men folk! This was a lot of fun to read and it would be nice if you do get the chance to take it further one day. :)

Of course! And you know I wrote it just for you, don't you? ;)

Also, how you've tied it in at the end with a sympathetic manly moment about keeping up with the women. LOL.

I hadn't realized until I started writing this how much Faramir and Caz really have in common! Mainly in the wife department, hehe.

Thank you very much for reading this, though I should probably curse you for expressing interest in reading a continuation of it. I'm really sorely tempted...But just HOW many WIPs have I ever completed?? Regardless of what I decide to do with it, I'm very pleased you think it feels like a plausible crossover! I'd never thought of LotR/Chalion before, myself, but the more I pictured both worlds, the more I imagined they could blend nicely (the clothes wouldn't even be out of place).
