Being a big fan of the old Marvel Cinematic Universe or whatever they’re calling it, I was super excited about Agents of SHIELD, and was commensurately disappointed when the first couple of episodes failed to hold my interest. Having a heavy TV schedule as it is, I do not watch things that don’t grab me, however much I love their origins, and we ( Read more... )

I've been wating it, but only in five to ten minute stretches. My big problem with it is that I can't seem to care what happens to skye and ward. For me they are almost seem like stick figures in how bland and unfleshed the show has presented them to be.

I've always enjoyed SHIELD, even in its less great early-days, although I've fallen out of it at the moment due to general busyness. I am FASCINATED to see where they go with this, and how they'll engage viewers who haven't seen/aren't planning to see Cap 2. I mean, I'm not sure there are that many people watching SHIELD who wouldn't also be planning to see Cap 2, but I find it interesting the way they've so clearly meshed the films and the tv series together, even though it risked alienating potential viewers. I really need to catch up though - I'm even a week behind UK pace now!

I'm one of the people who watches SHIELD but probably not CA 2 because the first movie was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen in my whole life. It was really a struggle to keep watching it. Because of that I expect CA 2 to be boring as well although it could be different. It's sad because I love my superhero movies and usually I'm all over them. *sigh*
So can you tell me the bullet points of CA 2? What do I have to know regarding to SHIELD and Co.?
