Ouf! I am ker-nackered. I have foolishly invited around a coterie of chums for lunch and tea tomorrow, and have spent all day shopping and domesticking in anticipation. (Also I went to Roehampton Library, whose online catalogue had LIED to me, but which contained an assortment of other books that looked interesting, and bought a top; more anon.)

I had to wait 9 minutes for my train from S Bush. Was a bad night for public transport.

How can we NOT love young!Amelia Pond? She's adorable, and rather unafraid (plus, she didn't make a face at the custard and fishfingers... SHE'S AMAZING. I MADE FACES.). :D But I *do* like foxy, ginger Amy Pond (who does *not* look away when the Doctor changes...) rather much too.

I hope the lunch and tea happenings were joyful. I do find it baffling that supermarkets fail to stock basic herb-related items and yet will cheerfully offer you fifty types of cheap cider. It's a world gone mad.

Thank God, someone else in the world who loves Martha! I was starting to think I was the only one. Amy/Amelia was good fun, but I'm reserving judgement on the new Doctor.
