To be more specific I am going to make courgette pasta out of part of The Vegetable. I doubt even we could eat all of it in one sitting.

AHAHAHA! I first stumbled across L.J. Smith when they gave one of her books out free with Mizz magazine, so that should tell you the standard to expect. I love them rather unreasonably nonetheless because I'm a soppy romantic at heart. Which omnibus did you get?

It's calling itself vol 1 of the Night World. I've read one story about Poppy and James, and another about Ash and Mary-Lynnette (which was actually sort of awesome). I'm going to have to read them all now, aren't I? GODDAMN YOU!!

You know how every teenage girl has that one fictional character she secretly thinks all men should be like? Ash Redfern was that fictional character for me <3 YOU SHOULD READ THEM ALL! They're awesome and, like, totally dreamy or whatever ;)

Oh yes, that's right, you're about a week older than thyme-slimy, aren't you?

I have a very nice vegetable marrow in the fridge, courtesy of Lidl (but yours, being home-grown, will probably be nicer). I think I might make a ratatouille, as I have an aubergine that wants using.
