We cannot rule out the possibility of someone connected to our world, such as is the case with Alicia Testarossa, and her attack upon you two.

Or this individual could have been targetting DATS in general, perhaps? That Erio was just an agent that happened to be the nearest to him... There are any number of possibilities.

Largely, he stuck to basic swordsmanship and utilization of Dark Digi-Soul. It was all close range fighting...

He did, however, have this one point when he countered one of Agnimon's attacks - he channeled power from his sword, threw it into the ground and then forward.

There's a part of the fighting style... it almost strikes me as Belkan. But this is assuming he's from our reality, and there's a LOT of different but similar things across all kinds of words...

Well... hopefully these investigations won't hold us up for too long... We've got a lot of work to do, but how about when we get some free time, or we're finished - whichever comes first - we see about heading over to Royal Base? ^^
