Now that I have listened to every song on my external hard drive, I feel I have arrived at a point of musical stagnation. I have added very few four star songs recently, and only one five star song. The following is a list of four and five star songs which are currently on my iPod. (I keep a randomized list of ten of them as part of my attempt at the ultimate playlist.)

As Is, by Ani DiFranco
The Future Soon, by Jonathan Coulton
Dream On, by Aerosmith
Owls Go, by Architecture in Helsinki
Lord of the Rings, by Blind Gardian
Universal Soldier, by Donovan
Spring, by Vivaldi
Ramblin' Rover, by Silly Wizard
Dim Halo, by Greenwheel
House at Pooh Corner, by Kenny Loggins

I don't exactly have narrow tastes, but I tend to like things that have a smooth feel to them. Things that feel jagged don't appeal as much.

I can recommend some good spanish or german music. Juanes is good spanish, my favorite songs from him are 'la camisa negra' and 'a dios le pido.' You might already know about Shakira, judging by your huge music collection. My favorite spanish songs from her are 'estoy aqui' and 'un poco de amor.' Die Ärzte is a good german punk band. They've been around since we were little kids, and they're still awesome, with the most recent popular song "lass die leute reden." I hope you like it! :)
