LOL!! I L-O-V-E you for this!

There even be some truth to what you say. In terms of America as an Empire, remember that she has had colonial possession of places since 1898 & the Spanish American War.

However, I think that we are seeing the rise of countries that will be an odd balance to America: India, Russia(again), China and even a scary-unified EU.
Also keep your eye on the southern hemisphere my radiator. (I'll be replaced by a combo toaster-i mac with legs and arms)
