Thanks Cristy. :) I picked a blazer since that's what I wore everyday for six years of my life. I feel more myself, I guess. Fingers are crossed for smooth traveling!
Thank you! I'm a gigantic nerd and actually planned my outfit for once.
I'm headed south of the border to watch a dear friend get married. And be one of the bridesmaids. Who hopefully doesn't faint clean away while walking down the aisle. ;) But with agoraphobia the mere process of getting there is huge in my head (despite flying alone several times before without fear). But then today I realized, "Oh. I have to fit in once I get there. Crap."
I appreciate the faith! :) We tried, but he was recently promoted and is currently undergoing training which he's not allowed to miss so not this time. When I think of how much I depended on him during the last flight I get pretty discouraged. I hope you're right though!
Look out the window at all the clouds they are so beautiful, the world just disappears, and you are not on a plane anymore at all. That's what I do. Maybe that is not a very helpful suggestion, but it helps me sometimes, and I feel more at home than anywhere else up in the clouds. Somehow the scariness and anxiety of flying dissolves out that window. <3
PS. That picture looks cut out of a catalog. You are beautiful. I wish I had your long lovely legs, pretty arms, and delicate-classic style. You could model clothing, if you wished. <3.
Iris, I'm fairly sure you could! Not to mention the addition of a porcelain doll face. :)
I will certainly try that. I think once I'm on board I'll be alright. If I faint most people will think I'm sleeping. But I will cross my fingers for a window seat so I can block everyone else out! Thank you so much for that suggestion and this comment. :) I remember the clouds looking like waves on an ocean when I flew last.
Brownyn, thank you. <3 I wish! Only, I am far too short for most kinds of modeling, and well, I am not really pretty enough. I probably should not say that, but it is true. Photographs taken that come out decently always amazes me.
Hopefully you will not faint, if you cannot get a window seat you can always ask the person next to you, if they mind trading seats. For some people sitting by the window makes their anxiety worse, but it has always helped me. Clouds looking like waves on an ocean sounds so beautiful.
i just wanted to butt in and say that i love you both and reading these comments awoke in me this sudden urge to hug you both so so so tightly!!! IRIS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS I WANT TO IMPRINT THIS IN YOUR BRAIN FOREVER!!! you do have the face of a porcelain doll and your eyes & your eyes and everything about you is delicate and dainty, and perhaps your beauty & soul are otherworldly (i think they are), they're not fit to this society we live in, but they're so very special & unique & that's what makes you you. ♥ and bee, you are still my special tiny warrior. even if you feel like you failed, you did not. and once you get back home you'll feel so accomplished and you'll regret nothing, trust me, i've been there. ;) i read yr email & i intend to reply HOPEFULLY today. *squishsquishsquish*
