Last night I had a dream that the world received warning of an impending alien attack in the early morning during work hours. I remember being somewhere mid level in a high rise office building when I looked out of the window and saw the first craft. It was bulky and it was oddly shaped and made of some dark metal held together with massive ( Read more... )

Trust that instinct, seriously. Yes it might sound crazy sometimes, but better to be cautious than not with things. Believe me when I say that ignoring that nagging sensation got me into some seriously deep crap (see my relationship with rob..) It takes a little getting used to, but in the end it's a good thing to be aware of and listen to.

As for your dream, well, your dreams are about as epic as mine tend to be, so there's a lot of things that it could mean. The only thing I can really input is that something did in fact change you and in some ways you've kept yourself at a certain distance from your friends, but only, I think, out of being slightly unsure of how we'll react to you and your changes. (I for one don't mind that people change, but I do mind the pain that comes with losing friends because there wasn't any understanding about said changes)

whoa... intense.

Hope your dad gets better soon. A good friend of mine just got the swine flu, too.

I agree with the above comment - trust your instincts.

Still with the dreams. You could write amazing novels, or brilliant screenplays, from the stories you come up with without even trying. I hope Anchorage is treating you well this Holiday season.

Yeah, my dreams have never stopped and now I don't think I much want them to. I used to wish they'd stop because they seemed so dark and terrible, but now I know that I would feel less without them. They are stories given to me from someplace I've never been. I cherish them, they are a part of who I am.
As far as writing novels and screenplays, yeah, I once thought I might be right for that role, but now I think I only enjoy writing when I don't have to since I've never enjoyed writing for a deadline. So perhaps it isn't my golden ticket to some shining destiny, but it's a good hobby and I embrace it as such.
Thank you all the same for your kind words.
Anchorage is good. I just wish I weren't sick for the occasion. Still, what can you do?
