I am trying to decide whether or not to go to Dreamation this year

I've been to Origins and it was fun but light on the ground with storygamers. We mostly played Call of Cthulhu.

I'd go to Dreamation which is teeming with them.

I like Origins as a publisher and a general geek-fan -- I feel like it gives more room for making contacts with professionals and fans alike than GenCon does.

I like Dreamation as a player.

But this year, publisher priorities win. I'm doubtful I'll make it to Dreamation.

Thank you for helping sell me on Dreamation - I have friends who run some of the CoC LARPs there, and they keep trying to get us up there. It sounds like my sort of situation - I'm not huge on the commerce or panels of most Cons I've tried.

I'll be there again this year, and it'd be great to see you there too, but you've got to do what's good for you. If you haven't got the time, then save the gaming energy for conventions later in the year. And there is always Dexcon.
