I've had the book for a while and have FINALLY had an opportunity to start poking through it. I like how it is designed in that it gets to the heart of your idea quickly and shares what we need to know to play. It reminds me to some degree of 7th Sea but even more drama/action driven. There are a handful of stumbling blocks from having never played any of your prior games but they are vaporizing as I press on.
I am impressed with the organic nature (for lack of a better description) of the way the powers/Gifts are described in their effects and how there is some conflict/overlap between them. Also, I've been reviewing the Style Dice since it is almost exactly how I use Destiny in my FATE-inspired mechanics for a Star Wars campaign.
In short, it seems like a fun, exciting game world that I hope to run or play in soon. Thanks!
