Parvati was faking being cheerful since she really didn't want to be back at Hogwarts. Seeing her friends wasn't so bad of course, but she'd rather be in India, and far away from Harry and Ron.
She couldn't wait to show off her nose peircing that she got with Maeve to him, and she found him quickly after entering the noisy Great Hall.
"I'm so-so," she admitted, giving him and honest smile as she sat down beside him, giving a cheerul wave to the other Hufflepuffs before turning to face him.
"Merlin, I want to hug you but I'm afraid of getting yelled at. How was your first morning of classes, honey?"
