Of the Wind and Weather

All through this morning (literally, starting from 1am) there have been strong winds buffeting us and our surrounding neighbourhood.  And since I stayed up late last night (as one does when one procrastinates), I slept late enough to hear the start of the wind's howling.  Half an hour after trying to sleep, my brain shoved a beautiful line of

And ironically now, using 'strikes', I shall say that weather often inspires these kinds of passages.
