Today marks four years at my current job.

It's the longest job I've ever held.

And five years ago this past week, dodged brain surgery by minutes. (Although I wish I had known then what I know now, because I would have had the surgery...only with a better surgeon specializing in pituitary tumors cause that hunk o' junk in my head still pisses me ( Read more... )

In that five years they've learned a lot. Much that might make a future surgery safer, more productive and easier to recover from. Maybe you'll find a teaching facility that will look at your case as a perfect trial. And you'lll have that surgery and everything will work out better than ever.
You'll be "Super Chris"! (not to be mistaken for 'Super Dave'.... really... Super Chris will be much better... and more successful....... :D

Right now I'm waiting to see how changing some medicines around has affected things. I go to the endocrinologist in April ( ... )

Okay, so I started on a Monday, but it was the 28th of February, so there ya go.

Neither, really. It's a good job as far as jobs go. Obviously not what I'd do if I were independently wealthy. It's a god enough job that I don't dread going in, and it keeps me working toward working for myself one day.

And it's close!
