Maybe take that hour you used to drive, grab a cup of coffee and sit in the dark, perhaps on the patio, daydreaming.

Wishing you many daydreamy hours.

Yeah, I usually get home from walking or working out late, but I'd like to either workout earlier, or not spend as much time relaxing after working out before bed.

Right now, I don't wake up as early as I once did because--with working out--I want to get 7-8 hours of sleep in.

But if I can get workouts in earlier, I can get up earlier and write, or relax and daydream :)

That, or just daydream on my walks. I do when I walk alone, but it's fun walking and chatting with Cynthia, too :)

Or...maybe wake up early and get a couple miles in alone, and then a few miles in at night with Cynthia :)

As a creative person, I find that it is vital to find decompression time everyday where I do some sort of mindless repetitive task. I also meditate and concentrate only on my breathing. I think it is vital to the creative mind to set it free from cares of stress and put it into the garden of wonderment while doing something like walking. I like to hike and to crochet.

Also, I think the positive energy you put out when thinking of things that you love attracts positive opportunities to you. So, as my friend Shawna says "No more stinkin thinkin!"

While I don't believe in energy or karma or anything like that--you're definitely right.

Whether one believes in energy, or just focus--when you surround yourself with positive people and focus on positive things instead of telling yourself you can't do stuff, you get a lot more accomplished and are more likely to succeed.

Decompression time used to be juggling. Of course, living on a second floor apartment and having to drive to a park to juggle...there's not time for it everyday.

But I need to juggle more...it's always been the most relaxing thing for me :)
