Yeah, I was thinking about that last night. The rest of the gang waiting for Belfour saying, "Hey, Denis," and "Hey, Savvy."
And what did I say?
"Hello, Mr. Savard."
He only has like eight years on me, but growing up, I think he was the first Blackhawk I knew by name. I was probably 11 or 12?
I hope Chicago does well under his leadership. Win or lose, the Hawks are the Hawks and always the fave team. But it would be nice seeing them at least doing well enough to not be the laughing stock of the league.
