Aw, Dean. Poor guy still feels mostly exiled. And Luke--ugh, you're reminding me of his less fond moments when he treated Dean like crap. I always thought Luke should like Dean more, but Dean was too gaga over Rory to think straight about the poor boy.

I'll be interested to see how Logan plays into this. And what Rory's intentions here are. You've got me quite intrigued!

LOL oops, I'm not ruining Luke for you, am I? I wanted it to be realistic, but for both in his conversations with Rory and with Lorelai for any reader to see that he does have the 'capacity' to like Dean more; he just has to get there. I had to do something like that, since this story is by itself and doesn't have the advantage of an entire series before it. :)

LOL you should be happy with the jess situation now, seeing as things have been more clearly defined. :p I'm glad to have that out of the way myself. On with Dean and Logan! Mostly Dean, of course. ;)

I'll echo Faye - poor Dean still feeling exiled! I love how Rory defended him to Luke, and Luke admitted she was right. That part of Luke always bugged me, and I like how realistically you portrayed it here.

And poor boy still seems a bit awkward around Rory. I hope one of the next times she runs into him, they can talk a little more and start feeling a little more comfortable with each other - get back into that familiar rhythm.

As a non-Rory/Jess fan, I almost cheered when Rory pulled away from the kiss and realized that this wasn't what she wanted. Still curious about what's going to happen with Logan. And more Dean, please! Awesome job, Kat, looking forward to the next chapter!

Just finished reading all five chapters- I have to say that you really get everyone. It will be interesting to see what happens when Jess, Dean, and Logan are all in one place with Rory...
