[ seen seated somewhere in a garden quietly sipping tea. there is a somewhat melancholy look about her face, but it gradually begins to shift to a kinder and serene expression. warmth. there are memories to be had here... ]

It has been ... a long time. [ she smiles, closing her eyes pleasantly at the thoughts that play ]

[He's still wandering through, searching for something...he doesn't know what. But when he pushes through the door he sees the garden and her. He stops, stunned.
There is something truly magical about this place.]

Euphie...

[He can't help but wonder if she's a mirage or hallucination. So he starts forward, slowly running in her direction, calling out louder.]

[ Ah, that voice. She recalls meeting so many of them in this domain, but no matter what time frame they were from, they always remained the same in her company. Just knowing he was present easily brought a smile to her face without even having to open her eyes to match the voice with a face. Another sip of the tea was given before gesturing languidly to the open chair on the opposite side of the table once she heard his footsteps near ]

You're late for tea, dear brother.

[He slows to a stop, bending slightly and panting. He didn't realize how far it was. But it's so good to hear her voice, so he complies and sits down. He smiles at her.]

...My apologies.

[He pours himself a cup and stares, trying to hold this in his mind with all of his strength. He hasn't seen her since the day she died.]

[ Perhaps she notices his apprehensiveness, but she makes no comment on it and instead takes interest in observing the way his fingers curled around the teacup. Another quiet sip is taken from her own before lifting her head ]

You almost don't look happy to see me. [ teasingly with a small smile ]

[His approach is quiet, and he pauses close by.

After a strange Rolo and after Lelouch, he shouldn't be surprised. Really.

...it takes him aback how much it seems to hurt, but her smile is still lovely.

He crushes the hope of changing something in the whole scheme of things. C.C. had pointed out reasons he'd never seen before...

[ This is certainly a surprise. Seeing Zero approaching is almost unreal. Knowing what she does, it can be one of two people. ]

May I? [He gestures vaguely to a chair.] ...I am not sure about the tea, however.
