cfuw: Miami [ wolf post ]

[ The lighting is low. A broken card table sits in the corner, a pool table to the right of that. A ceiling fan half-heartedly stirs the stagnant air. The bar is devoid of any real alcohol, but there are bottles of milk in the icebox. The centerpiece, however, the crown jewels of the room, is the pile of cookies on the big mahogany table in the ( Read more... )

YOU ARE DECIDEDLY UNHELPFUL.

BUT I DIDN'T GET OUSTED

I... apologize for my absence. But, perhaps it was for the best-- if I had been here, I would have voted for you during ousting and made it a tie-breaker.

I don't suppose anyone deciphered that clue earlier...?

Obviously, I didn't even need you and I picked someone to eat that wouldn't have dicked us over no matter how it went. How's that for keeping up my end, huh?

Nope, no one. Which means we might want to start working on it ourselves and see if there's any way we can use that. There's a new clue out and it's me against the old fart and that red-head.

[sighs] Yes, thank you for that.

'An eye witness says that "A 3-4-5-4-5 Severe Welts 20-9-7-8-20 Trot" did not do it'... there's a number of ways to decipher this, but the ones I think of immediately don't exactly add up. In any case, you'll need to pit yourself against Luke-san and Raven-san wisely; I can tell that Luke-san is giving off the same intentions as Morgana-san... he's rather clueless, all things considered.

It's a tough group. That old man's been pretty busy, talking with people in the oustings, while the kid's at least trying to figure stuff out. I've been helpful to some extent, but ... well. Big fat question mark. I'll just start trolling more later and hope people think it's so obvious that it isn't me, but whatever. No one's been talking, so it's been tough!

Watch out for that robot.

You'd better hope the sheep follow your logic on this.

Aigis-san? What for, precisely-- does she suspect you?

At this point, I'm in it for laughs.

Please. I'm not that petty. What's concerning me is two things, though. First of all, she comes off as being so new and clueless about how things go that the flock instantly sort of ... sees her as safe. Her logic's a bit out there, too, and from the looks of last night's ousting, she goes with what someone tells her. This is all well and good if it's you, but later on in the game? That could bite you in the ass and mess our whole pack over.

In other words, I'd seriously start considering whether you're going to use her or scapegoat her now, because this could be a problem later. And if you're not going to scapegoat her, tell me who you're going to try and get ousted in your place so I can start looking really suspicious around them.

I'd certainly like to speak with her more in-depth, as I've not had much of a chance to. I don't think she's someone I can use to make myself look innocent very much-- but like you said, the flock sees her as safe, and if someone is cozying up to the "safe" sheep, then it's suspicious.

As for who I would like to ah, scapegoat, I'm afraid I don't have an answer for that just yet. Once I know who else I'll be in a clue with, I can tell you-- unless you're going off the assumption that "the last three women in the game" is our other clue.

Hanamura was talking with her a lot in the ousting. Do you know if they were talking in private? If they were, that's something you can use so it won't look like you're cozying up. Remember, you have that excuse that you were gone all day yesterday - it's only natural that an involved kid like you would want to figure out what the hell was going on.

I'm not assuming anything, but I don't think they can give another clue in all fairness, given that we've had three already. We've gotta solve that clue and figure out who's in it so we don't shoot ourselves in the foot. You can assume it's between you and the other four, with someone amongst them possibly being a safe.

I don't know if he and Aigis-san were; he didn't mention anything about her in our discussion. Though at this point it'll be unlucky for us if the safe sheep clue doesn't point to her, since we'd then have two people whom the flock undoubtedly considers sheep.

Between Aigis-san, Yako-san, Katsuya-san, and the new person who arrived to be Tickle Me Elmo's replacement... I'm leaning towards Katsuya-san, if for no other reason than the fact that the new person and Yako-san seem, ah, close. And that could be problematic later.

Katsuya? ... oh yeah, that other guy. He voted to save me in the ousting last night. That's pretty useful because no matter what, if and when I go, they'll know I was a wolf.

He and I are on relatively good terms. Now that senpai's out of the game, I'll need to be speaking regularly with another person who is paying enough attention to pick up on what I may have missed in my absence-- so it's perfectly logical that I would speak to him.

Hey, there's this - the new person replaced someone. Since we can't judge his behavior from earlier and it looks like he's dicking around just as much as I've been, you can use that to drive a wedge between the two and turn people against him. If they wonder why a wolf would be inactive and drop, well. The game in general's been pretty quiet.

... just remember that you have no reason to trust any of them. You're supposed to be a sheep and none of them are confirmed.
