Sakura was outside Sasuke's door, somewhere near the lift, glaring ominously at the door. It wasn't opening. Why wasn't it opening? Maybe she needed someone else here too? When was Naruto going to get here? And Rukia seemed horribly upset, as well she should, but...

She kicked the floor and sat down hard. She had so much pent up energy, so much wasted anger. Sleeping with them had been nice, felt safe and despite her misgivings about the sleeping arrangement, she hadn't felt safer in a long time.

Juugo wasn't as worried as the other two, having only heard that Sasuke had finally reappeared. Not that he wasn't worried purely from that short piece of information: he had meant to visit earlier, but first the teambuilding exercise and then Hinata had kept him busy for the better part of a day.

So it was later than he had planned when he approached the apartment, after he had arranged with Hinata to meet afterwards to discuss the chamber and what had happened, and he was more than a little surprised to see two girls already converging on the same door. He dropped back, but quickly realised who they must be - Rukia, Sasuke's mentor; and Sakura, his old teammate - and strode the last few metres to the door.
