And now for your 50 point follow-up question.
I admit, my last question didn't include "freetard" because I don't consider it to be a word worth thinking about. As far as I'm concerned, it's an internet word and internet words aren't "real" words. But people want to talk about it and I think it deserves it's own post.
Now, before we get started, everyone has to agree on the following or insanity and butthurt will ensue. And I know we all want to avoid butthurt.
1) Not all Childfree are frothing at the mouth baby-haters.
2) Just because not all Childfree are frothing at the mouth baby-haters does not mean that none are.
3) Not everyone at Stupid_free is not out to "get" the childfree.
4) Just because not everyone at Stupid_free is out to "get" the childfree does not mean that nobody is.
5) Anyone who says that CF rant language either is only used towards bad parents or misbehaving child or that it stays inside CF communities will be laughed at.
6) Both sides troll the other's communities. Nobody is innocent.
Alright. Moo and freetard. Really, what's the difference? Are they really all that different? Moo is supposed to be ONLY used against bad or obsessed mothers. Freetard is only supposed to be used against crazy, frothing at the mouth baby-haters who post insane things.
Is one worse than the other?
How are they any different? Let's ignore for a moment the gender and mentally handicapped implications in both. I don't feel like talking about them.
In the last post people described "freetard" as bigoted, and I know they didn't mean against the mentally handicapped. Is Moo any less bigoted?
Is it fair for one side to use one, and then be pissy when the other uses the other? (And both sides do this so no goddamn finger pointing.)
My opinion? I so no difference between freetard and moo. Both are stupid internet words that shouldn't really affect anybody. Both sides abuse their terms, both sides troll, and it always amuses me to see the Childfree get Butthurt over Freetard. I remember when Freetard was created, and it was strictly a reactionary word to Moo and the like.
Really, everybody get over themselves and realize it's just the freaking internet. Bigotry my ass. Offensive maybe, but not important enough to call bigotry.
