EDIT: Make sure they are things that I can photograph within my dorm, because I don't have a camera and will be using my laptop to take these pictures

You should take pictures of things that like...you'd want to show people if they were there. Like a fountain or your favorite hangout, or some such.

BUT SINCE THAT IDEA IS LAME take pictures of a meal! I like pictures of food almost as much as food itself.

Take a picture of what you can see out your window. I'm.. assuming you have a window and you're not just in a box. If you are in a box, break through the wall and take a picture of the outside.
