Wow. If i wasn't going to be in the midst of A school i'd try to organize a trip to PAX come august. perhaps even forging the trip to gencon. I mean check this out:

Wonder what they do for double classing from both categories. I have a couple of ideas I'd like to run. For the general at least I'd want to try a version of my Mele Druid Beat Monkey

Sounds like you'd be able to chose if it's questionable. Though if you're half warrior, half wizard, and go up against a level 20 wizard, I'd question your chances.
