I am coming on to 30, turning 28 last month as it is I am just caring for my mother getting a monthly allowance driving her to appointments and shopping if she wants. Sorry, I can't offer much advice but I do understand your circumstances as things are very similar here. You know where to find me if you want to talk, or even just to vent.

Some of your problems there sound a little like mine -- for example I've had no luck on immigration to over there as of yet. Hmm *thinks are there any job-based websites you can try out at all? Or maybe immigrating to another country (such as Canada) might be a big but intresting step? (Something I'm trying to do as well!).

Are there any places like local computer repair type places whereby you might be able to work on repairing PCs (not a very intresting job I know x.x) but not have to work retail? Jus' a thought.

Oh i have my resume for what it is worth posted on the likes of Monster.com, Career Finder.com and one local website for such but though they send me emails every week saying they have found jobs in my area and for what I stated. I have gotten to the point I don't look at them because they are for things I wouldn't want to do (or be illegal these days) or too far away for me to try and apply to.

I have tried to get certified to work on PCs though the A+ program but didn't pass the test on the first try and parents didn't want to pay for a second attempt saying they didn't think my heart was into it. I didn't mean just computer jobs though given I am into reading and other things offline.

oh I have tried to do the A+ certification program I didn't pass the test on the first try and parents didn't want to pay the fee for me to try again. I should have also mentioned that I didn't mean just a computer job I have other interests like reading (would love to work in a library or such). Just my brain is a little forgetful at 3 am.
