Again, thanks go to rigel-7, who tore herself away from the SG1 fandom in order to give me a brilliant beta for TIS.

Back to Part I

*abrupt halt* There's not more? The story felt like it came to an end awfully fast. The rest of the what if scenarios were so long.

Still, kick ass story. *Into the memory box!*

Er. Yes. Sorry.

Would it help if I extended the final If?

I think I want a sequel, actually. :) (Just read this, found it by way of an AU recs page.)

It's not looking terribly likely. But still vaguely possible.

This fic is completely, totally awesome, and I love it. I love everything about it, but especially Draco being so *desperate* to see how he could have made it all different. And really, he couldn't, not without the real life experience to understand Harry on a more mature level, since he could make that 'one different choice' when he had that understanding of the world, but not keep making the decisions to KEEP things right. I LOVE that, and also that he does have that understanding and maturity NOW, and doesn't have to totally screw everything up.

I'm not sure that that was the message I was trying to get across - but I'm happy if that's what you left with, because it's a nice one ( ... )

Hee! Understandable. Maybe it was a combination of the two. You know, getting to know each other well enough that they each 'get' each other and ... stuff. I'm sorry if I took something else away from the fic than what you were trying to say -- I'm notoriously bad at Not Getting things. It's definitely not a weakness you have as a writer, and once I thought about it I can totally see what you're saying about Harry.

Long replies are lovely! :)

I've always been of the opinion that the writer doesn't have a monopoly on What The Story's About :p Your interpretation is completely valid and kind of cool; I was just arguing my own point because I was trying to get it clear in my own head :-)

Choose your favourite direction and believe in it. The beauty of open-ended stories :-)

No plans at the moment, I'm afraid. If I get hit by some awesome idea for it, then yeah, I'd write it :-)
