*flails wildly*

You are too awesome for words. :D

*flails some more*

Ok, they're so adorable! So adorable! I just want to hug them both, and smile at them tearily. :) Because, well, this:

His robes arrived, and he put them on and wore them all afternoon, but there was no one there to see him except Mother and Father and the house-elves.

and:

He wasn't sure why Zabini had appointed himself first year alarm clock.

and:

Gregory gave him an uncertain look, probably at the idea of Draco successfully bullying Lucius into doing anything at all.

- oh, the adorabity.

Plus, Sometimes Draco caught Harry watching him, but when Draco looked, Harry would always look away and say something random to somebody else. Draco only looked at Harry when he was almost sure Harry was too absorbed to look around.

Oh, Draco. Slytherin to the core.

And, y'know. They have to make up. They're going to make up, right? They have a long future of best friendship and USTing ahead of them that they need to fulfill. :)

*loves*

Guilt guilt guilt. I started edits for Part II, then I got to the first hard bit and got distracted and went off to read bandslash.

OK. OK, seriously, finishing now.

I'm so glad you like it!

This is a really slow way to IM, but: Give me a British word for hobo? I'm drawing a blank.

Thank you! And yes, actual thought involved in this one! I'm glad you can tell the difference :-) (It's still kind of flawed, but I hope it's charming. I was shooting for charming.)

Thank heavens for your fics! After devouring the If Sieve and Mirror Maze in no time, I decided to put off the treat of this fic for some desperate time in the future, which should tell you how amazing your fics are. Honestly, you are in a class by yourself. Anyway, I have just abandoned one of the most horrible fics I've ever come across after braving snatches of it for 34 LONG chapters. So I decided a superior treat was in order and I rushed over here. I've only gobbled up the Madam Maulkin scene to settle my fic-nausea, but you should know it is always difficult to review your work. It's hard to put my awe at the fic into words, that's how good your stuff is! Draco and Harry become so incredibly vivid, insecurities and reluctant affection and pent-up lust and all. I can really FEEL the atmosphere and hear the thoughts going through their minds, and your description of visual stuff is, again, in a class by itself ( ... )

Good lord, what a lovely comment ♥ I hope that the rest of the fic wasn't a disappointment!

(I'm really glad you like the visuals. This fic and the others around it were when I was first realising how important setting was to me, and trying to find out how it worked.)
