Cecilia Jacobs was bored.

Jake was being particularly lame. These OWLs were really getting to him, especially Herbology. He was so bad at it that no matter what he did, he didn't seem to think he'd ever be ready. He'd spent the better part of an hour basically begging Sprout for added help.

When she'd finally given him some extra things to read, he started to head back toward the castle, reading at the same time. Luckily he glanced up when he saw a shadow and barely missed colliding with the older girl.

"Don' tlook so out of place."

Cecilia stumbled slightly over her own two feet as she came to a halt. She looked up at the younger Hufflepuff with a particularly annoyed look on her face. She hated being bumped into.

However, it was better than being alone.

"You might want to watch where you're going," she said simply.

"My bad if I have more important things to pay attention to," he countered without so much as a pause. Jake had been grumpy for days, and when he was grumpy he didn't care so much about being overly nice to the pretty (albeit bitchy) girls.

"If they're so important you shouldn't be wandering around the grounds like some fool," she replied as she put her hand on her hip.

She wasn't sure who Jake thought he was to be so rude to her. However, she didn't really pay much attention to the books in his hands. If she had, she would have put two and two together.
