Smuggler's Notch

After a long, long absence I was reminded by a friend of this poem. We found it during a trek through the Northwest Corner of New Hampshire. A story lies behind that trek and a story that fits into the world of Firefly that I have not recently contributed to. Perhaps this will poke the Muse into a short tale or two.

Indeed am very much alive! I have been totally immersed in rl and the living of it with a somewhat Jayne-type of man. Never a dull moment...

As to the poem, it was posted at Smuggler's Notch, NH but no date or other attribution beyond the author's name. I would presume around the Revolutionary period???

It is indeed. We figured we'd give the nuptial ride another go. Second time for both of us.

He does have passing moments that make me think all the Muse was trying to explain to me about Jayne was in preparation for Ju (his name). Plus he is devilishly handsome >;^)
