i really love this series - the writing is beautiful and lyrical. i love how deeply you explore the emotions of everyone in the aftermath.

No the reality of River's statement is more pernicious than an undetected bleed...

All will be clear, well, some will be clear...actually, a tiny bit will be clear soon >;0)

Hmm, is there something dangerous in River's blood perhaps? Something that the Academy did to her?
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see :)

Jayne really is part of the Serenity family now, isn't he? Both in the way he acts and the way the others are concerned for him.

Looking forward to reading more.

Yeah, Jayne isn't going anywhere. I think he really decided he was part of the family on Miranda when he said "...if you can't do something smart, do something right..."

Jayne! *wibble* You can see the change in him here - I like Badger's remark about him following the Captain through the 'valley'. I think that's so..

The scene between Badger & Zoe was very well drawn and I find River's remarks about the blood a bit worrying? Though her last words are ultimately hopeful...

I can't wait for more - you're doing wonderfully!

Fantastic! I am so glad the change in Jayne was apparent. The conversation between him and Badger was really interesting as it unfolded. Surprising, unexpected and interesting. I was really hoping Badger's voice would be clear as I heard it in my mind.

River has secrets even she doesn't know the full extent of... secrets that stay with them until the end of days...
