See, this is why I like your Rayne!

Very nice, love all the imagery and emotional quality to it.

Keep writing!

*Hugs* Thank you... It matters alot that it works to other writers whose work I admire...

To paraphrase Kaylee, "They got workin's and they just kinda talk to me." I love Jayne and River as they reveal themselves to me...

*Hugs* You are far to kind... but OMG, yes! Is it bad to agree loudly with a compliment?

I really, really love what Jayne and River are revealing as they talk to me.. they are so pure and clear in my mind. It is an interesting thing, and oh so wonderful. I love that you see some of the heartbreaking beauty of it. My words do them nowhere near enough justice.

This is like a poem. that whole thing. Like swimming. I do so love it here. It's so peaceful.
So many parts. I can't even pick out my favorites. It's all so bitter sweet! -hugs- Hope it wasn't too hard writing this.

No darlin' it ain't never too hard to write these words. They may make me cry sometimes, but they are right there with me.
Swimming like flying, and flying is what River does so peacefully after the wildness...

Thank you for the beautiful comment *Hugs*

She feels safer there than anywhere else in the 'verse. Nothing can get her when she is curled up in his arms feeling the vibrations created by the rumbling of vocal chords and beat of his heart

He finds the trails in her mind that lead down dark paths and leads her back with him, large hands holding her smaller ones. He can always see the thread that leads them both back to the warmth

Beautiful! The two halves to the whole - I love it! I also love the last conversation, it really fits these two. You've done more wonderful work here...

*Huggles* I had some time with this one... mostly done before B3, but I wanted to let it be for a awhile before I posted it... needed to spend time with them here, make sure it felt right, you know?

I am glad you see the two halves of the whole because I think it really defines them.

“We gonna be havin’ this talk fer the rest a’ my life xiâo que.” Jayne asked wearily.

*grins*

And that is just perfect.

Thank you! I could just hear that weary and still loving tone... no matter how tired he is, he knows River is going to ask those questions....
