i like polaroids because they are physical objects, also present in the present. It allows me to document what is going without feeling like I am excluding myself from it. and polaroids are not meant for facebook, even though I know they can end up there if I take the extra effort.

I like polaroids, I even have two polaroid cameras purchased at thrift stores in NJ -- but no film and much to my chagrin I realize that polaroid film is expensive and discontinued.

Maybe there'll be some polaroid revival in the future and I'll be able to start direct flashing people in the face again.

I have a small hord of film, but the impossible project has been successful and they will start selling film again some time this year. since most of it will be for the hobby market, not the commercial market, there will be weird film, like black and white, or sepia, etc.

I thought you left without saying goodbye. If you're still around when I come back we can sit on fold out chairs in front of the laundromat again. Life here is ok, not Taxi Driver letter to his parents ok, really ok. I think?

I haven't left yet. I'll be leaving tonight for 6 weeks to travel.

Is Minneapolis a temporary move or do you just plan on visiting NYC?

I'm glad to hear that life is okay with you. I think after awhile, that's all one can really hope for.
